Alexander Taylor

Alexander Taylor is an industrial designer, innovator and creative director, who founded his design studio in 2002 and more recently, ATID, a sustainably conscious technical apparel label, in 2020. He creates product informed by research, development and considered collaborations, always working towards the most appropriate and innovative solutions. Taylor has been a consultant for adidas since 2008 and has developed technologies such as PrimeKnit, which was hailed as one of the most sustainable and innovate shoes produced by the brand. His studio collaborated on the adidas x Parley shoes presented at the United Nations Climate Change Summit in 2015 and he continues to be an Ambassador for Parley for the Oceans. He has developed new and challenging products for Hunter Wellington Boots and collaborated with Joachim de Callatay on Stella McCartney men’s footwear. Taylor has also designed furniture and lighting for some of Europe’s leading design manufacturers and his Fold Light was acquired by MoMA and the Chicago Institute of Design for their permanent collections. He has won the Designer of the Future Award at Design Miami Basel and was a visiting professor at the ECAL (2008-2016) and Royal College of Art (2013-2015).

Céline Maguet – Culinary and wine journalist

Culinary and wine journalist, Céline Maguet hosts the “Fooding Plans de tables” podcast which questions the catering and food of tomorrow.
Next November, she will release her first book, “La bonne cuisine des vegetables.”
She is also the co-founder of Agence Soif, a company that offers natural wines in festivals and events.

Isabelle Sultan joined Parfums Christian Dior, a subsidiary of the LVMH Group, as Chief Sustainability Officer early 2021.
This role within the House gives her the means to position this emblematic luxury industry actor in an even more assertive approach to taking its impacts into account.
Isabelle has forged her conviction through her experience in marketing, innovation and business development for committed brands. The transformation of economic models that reconcile impact and performance has been her objective within an investment fund dedicated to the development of solutions against malnutrition and access to drinking water. Lucile and Sarah are the founders of the badass office: a hybrid between the creative office and the communication and advertising agency. As a company with a mission, bureau badass has 3 pillars: the imagination at the service of awareness of social and environmental issues, healthy collaboration with a pool of creative talents and an image factory attentive to production conditions. After five years of agency, they have each decided to take a new path. During talks, they will explore the notion of “war of imaginations” and the importance of a “poetic revolution”.

Christine Goulay – Global Director of PANGAIA Science

As the Global Director of PANGAIA Science, PANGAIA recently launched B2B business, Christine focuses on driving a transition to an Earth Positive future through disseminating cutting-edge material sciences technologies to brands and suppliers. Previously, Christine was Head of Sustainable Innovation at Kering where she worked to fast-track circular and impact-driven solutions. She also has worked at INSEAD in the Centre for Entrepreneurship, focusing on business model innovation for double and triple bottom line companies. Additionally, she helped launch the B2B business, Edun Live, part of the ethical fashion brand, Edun Apparel, founded by Ali Hewson and Bono. Christine also practiced corporate law in the venture capital and private equity sectors.
She attended Harvard University, holds a law degree from Boston College Law School and has an MBA from INSEAD.

Adeline Dargent – General Manager of the Syndicat de Paris de la Mode Féminine

Adeline Dargent, General Manager of the Syndicat de Paris de la Mode Féminine and CSR Manager of the French Federation of Women’s Ready-to-Wear, has been supporting fashion brands for several years to commit to an ecological transition. To do this, in partnership with other federations in the sector and CSR actors, has contributed to the provision of guides on responsible sourcing, ecodesign and finally responsible communication.

Paul Foulkes-Arellano – public speaker on circularity

Paul is a regular speaker on sustainable design and new materials. In recent years he has been a vocal advocate of circularity, lecturing at universities and talking at industry events. He is a member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment).
Paul has advised a number of NGOs on sustainability, packaging and the circular economy which led him in 2018 to found the Sustainable Design Alliance, an international alliance of sustainable design professionals working on global solutions for a healthier planet.
His area of expertise is raw materials, food & beverage, apparel and footwear. His particular focus is NextGen fibre recycling, composting, biomaterials, and new material development. Much of his work is mentoring businesses in the supply chain and disposal chain, including reuse and novel materials.

Felix Winckler – Chief Commercial Officer and Co-founder of Reflaunt.

Felix is the Chief Commercial Officer and Co-founder of Reflaunt. Felix is an ex New York State lawyer who after practising commercial litigation co-founded several startups including Voicepolls and Votebox. Felix has extensive experience in growth, sales and online marketing.
Reflaunt bring “resell as a service” to brands and retailers allowing them to easily get into the second hand trade. Reflaunt provides several options, so retailers can find the best way to integrate resell as part of their customer journey. Reflaunt’s core product is the “smart button” (plug in) which integrate its self in existing customer account on the retailer e-commerce. The “smart button” allows customers to push products for resell on a network of third party platform specialised in second hand resell. Reflaunt can also help retailer set up a buy back program or consignment service. These services are made to be seamlessly integrated so brand and retailers can maintain the standards of their brand identity. Each model is built around a store credit scheme made to improve customer retention. Reflaunt’s aim is to allow brands and retailers to implement this new business model with ease and at a minimum cost.

Geraldine Wharry – futures designer, public speaker, educator and community leader

Geraldine Wharry is a fashion futurist, futures designer, public speaker, educator and community leader whose foresight, cultural theory and future scenarios have been implemented by brands, institutions and innovation agencies. Through the school and community she founded, the Trend Atelier, she has dedicated herself to future’s literacy and challenging the role of futurists. Her thoughts on futures at the crossroads of boundary pushing design, systems change and planetary imperatives have been featured on global stages and by leading publications. As a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and founding member of Fashion Act Now, Geraldine has dedicated herself to supporting systemic change, as well as social and climate justice.

Marion Séclin – Scénariste et Comédienne

Marion Séclin is a screenwriter, actress and “storyteller” in all their forms (short film, podcast, TV series, cinema, stories, shooting, etc.) She was one of the first artists of her generation to speak on the Internet on topics such as feminism and social problems, and she has at heart in its projects to question the established order and to awaken consciences, to push the spectators to think for themselves. Florentin Letissier – Maire-adjoint de Paris en charge de l’ESS

Florentin Letissier is an elected official for the 14th arrondissement of Paris and has been a professor of economics and social sciences for more than ten years. As a native from the Nantes region, he moves away to study at the Bordeaux Institute of Political Studies, before arriving in Paris in 2010 to start his career. Since then, he is teaching in educational institutions, high schools, and preparatory classes of “grandes écoles”.

As soon as he arrived in Paris, Florentin decided to enlist within the Green Party so as to participate in the making of political decisions which support the protection of the environment, the improvement of living conditions, wealth redistribution, and job creation. Then, Florentin Letisser aspired to turn his engagement into political action and to serve Parisians. For the first time, he gets elected as a Deputy Mayor of the 14th arrondissement of Paris and is designated to be in charge of the social and solidarity economy and ecological transition. On July 20th, he chose to take a step back from education and becomes the Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of circular economy, social and solidarity economy, and the zero waste plan.

She is an engineer in cancer research, and has always sought to have an impact on the world around her.

WeDressFair is an online website that highlights only fashion brands that respect people and the environment. Listing more than 100 brands, WeDressFair wants to make it easy for all consumers to find an attractive alternative in fashion.

Marine Van Schoonbeek – Cofounder of ThanksForNothing

From 2017 to 2021, Marine Van Schoonbeek was the President and co-founder of Thanks for Nothing and ensured the development of all the association’s projects. Since February 2021, she has served as Chief Executive Officer. At the same time, Marine teaches at Sciences Po and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Primo Levi Center.

From 2015 to 2018, Marine was Director of Galerie Chantal Crousel, in charge of development, relations and sales with institutions and international collectors. From 2012 to 2015, Marine led relations with FIAC collectors and institutions. For 3 years, she developed the entire program for VIPs, in partnership with 200 institutions, foundations and private collections internationally. From 2009 to 2012, she was in charge of public relations and sponsorship at the Center Pompidou-Metz where she notably developed the equity research policy and coordinated the official inauguration of the place, the first cultural institution of this magnitude relocated to France. .

In 2008, she was project manager for Robert Fitzpatrick, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, where she analyzed the structure of American cultural institutions.

Magali Payen – Founder of “On Est Prêt » movement, President of “Imagine 2050”

Magali believes in the power of images, stories and influence to win cultural victories and transform our societies. Thanks to her experience in cinema, television and digital content, she decided to gather and coordinate experts, creators and actors who wish to inspire the metamorphosis towards a new sustainable world.

This is how the “On Est Prêt” movement, “We Are Ready” in english, was born in 2018. With Imagine 2050, her objective is to raise the awareness of artists and decision-makers, to put the audiovisual, cinema and media sectors into action to facilitate narrative transitions.

Graduated from the ESSEC BBA with a Master’s degree in International Purchasing, Petronille began her career in purchasing. Passionate about the social economy, she created a sustainable and solidarity-based marketplace, Le Philanthrope Paris, in 2020. She then joined the CSR Department of the ETAM Group, after completing a course in Sustainable Development at Centrale. She is committed to “Pour un Réveil Ecologique” and she specializes in GreenWashing and GreenIT. The goal : Support companies about their climate strategies.

Since 2021, she has participated to the Board of Directors of an eco-organism to follow recycling subjects.

Laetitia Vasseur – HOP Co-Founder

With two master’s degrees in political science at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, doctoral student in management science, Laetitia Vasseur is recognized as an expert in the circular economy.

She notably worked as a parliamentary collaborator in the Senate, then as a consultant. She was a member of the Act committee with the Minister of Ecological Transition.

She is also the author of the book “Du disposable au durable” (Gallimard, 2017) and columnist for Economic Alternatives and above all, co-founder of the association HOP (Hâlte à l’Obscolescence Programmepée)

Stephanie Dickson – Cofounder of Green Is The New Black

Stephanie is a marketer, event organiser and avid connector of conscious individuals and brands. Paula Miquelis – Green Is The New Black Cofounder

Born and raised in Nice, France, Paula has lived in Asia for almost a decade, studying at Hong Kong University and later moving to Singapore to start her career as a consultant in circular economy.

She worked on projects across Asia in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Hong Kong consulting for MNCs such as Unilever, P&G and Danone.
Her dream is to make sustainability more mainstream and attractive for everyone through smart design and communications.
