LES RÉCUPÉRABLES: an upcycling brand, creates its collections from vintage linens and dormant stocks collected from French textile manufacturers and Le Relais. The creations, in limited series, are made in a workshop that promotes French know-how. A small part of the production is entrusted to Portuguese workshops.

Carbone 14 is a brand born in Paris, the collections are handmade in very limited editions, depending on the fabrics found and the clothes to be transformed. In 2005, Hélène de La Moureyre had the idea of recovering canvas (from awnings and hot-air balloons) and advertising tarpaulins to give them a second life. Since then, Bilum has used life jackets, airbags and aeroplane seats. In their workshop in the Paris region, the Bilum team carries out material tests and trials, prototypes, mini-series and after-sales service. At the same time, the brand collaborates with seven workshops for the manufacture of all their products. All of them are located in France, mainly in the Ile-de-France region, and four of them are ÉSATs (establishment and service of help through work and adapted company). Some of them are leather goods manufacturers with a long history of expertise.
